Day 2 – Why I Moved to Bearblog
Hi there! 👋
This is my first blog post on Bearblog, and I’m already loving the simplicity and focus it brings to writing.
You might be wondering why this post is labeled Day 2. That’s because I actually started a blog challenge yesterday on my own domain. But I quickly realized that what I really want in a blog is a place to write and read simply — without distractions. After some searching, I found Bearblog... and here I am.
I like how I can fully focus on the writing process here. I’m also comfortable with Markdown, so the writing experience feels smooth and intuitive.
This is a personal challenge I’m taking on:
Write a blog post every day.
Even if a post isn't packed with useful information, I want to keep writing — just to stay connected with the world outside.
Recently, I’ve been developing a game called Dungeon Merchant using Unity (a game engine based on C#). I've finalized the core concept and built some early prototypes.

By the way, I use AI to help review my writing (so if something sounds awkward, now you know why!). English isn’t my first language, and I’m still learning game dev in Unity — so yes, I ask AI for help... a lot. 😅
