Day 18 - polishing customer system and many more!
Hi, I am back again.
I’ve been working on the customer system.
Here are the lists of what I have done today:
- Made customers interactable (including highlighting when hovered)
- Allowed UI popup when the player interacts with customers
- Polished UI design for the customer info popup
Some of the bugs that I need to work on:
- Aligning capsule collider size on customer prefab
(I was lazy to put a collider in prefabs so I automatically added them. Some thorough size checks are needed.)
What’s next?
- Attach customers to pathfinding algorithms and make routings more realistic
- Build community hall where customers can gather
- Polish the masterTable and think about upgrade systems
- Build room system for bonuses and combos
- Add randomization for customer generation
Tomorrow, I’ll be working on a video for the weekly recap. (It’s week #3!) I am thinking of adding demo on customer information, routing system, and UI changes!
