I need that essence (Day 35)
Hi,
I’ve been working on polishing the demo lately.
I ran through the whole loop, and while it’s okay, I feel like something’s still missing—that feeling that makes the game intriguing.
It’s still in progress, but here are some ideas I’m exploring:
- Manually moving items
- Dropping gold coins to trigger trades
- Handing out physical keys to bedrooms
I also started thinking about shifting from 3D first-person to a 2.5D top-down view.
As I polish more, I’m focusing on pruning what's unnecessary and keeping only the core values I want to deliver.
I haven’t decided yet, but I feel like I’m getting closer.
